If Adrian is still owner at QFL, near certainty I stay, yes. If not, then the winnings there go to him (since we came out even)= tougher decision as $100 b/w 2 leagues. Which is less fun

*Mon3yball* Team Openings [Detailed!]
#1
---Please PM myself And/OR @patjossom with interest/qualifications.---

NOTA BENE [Note]: I've listed the 2019 salaries in order to list possible keepers; however, you will be utilizing the 2020 salaries, extensions and cap room. Years beyond 2021 are unlisted here.

*Highlights on in Red (Hitting) /Blue (Pitching) /Green (prospects).

Team Name:
Boston Red Sox

Strengths: One of the top 2-3 teams in our inaugural season. (about the same Points accumulated as 2nd overall team, Nationals & nearly beat Eventual League Champion Houston for the ALCS).

+Very top heavy, multple MVP's but also deep enough to contend early and often.
+Major talents are peak and in pre-peak/growth years.
+Even when trading for current season, did not mortgage future lightly [Traded carefully and well].
+Heavy on hitting depth, & with games started/IP limit, this only helps. Pitching is good, but Belt/Wong/Calhoun mere depth to a team like this.

Weaknesses:
+ Very weak Minor league roster, siphoned in order to focus on increasing Major league assets.
+ Will have to get creative to resign Chris Sale, Muncy, Ryu, and other talents.
+ little cap room left.

Strategies/Advice:

X Ideally utilize buyouts of Players such as Junis, Belt, or even Injury-prone Turner?
X Compete early and often year-after-year : )

MI Arteaga, Humberto
P Crawford, Kutter
P Jimenez, Dedgar
P Liranzo, Jesus
P Huang, Wei-Chieh
P Rainey, Tanner

Team Name:
Cincinatti Reds

Strengths:
Super active owners have improved the team significantly Far beyond its major league couterpart,
electing for a balanced core of keepers.

+ Peak-age keepers mixed with youth [With more youth options than vets].
+ Sleeper upside everywhere on the roster, likely due to this management, (wise, safe signings & well thought-out trades).
+ Lack of daily roster moves a likely cause for the team's finish vs. Cubs/RedSox, but received 7th pick/each round in MiLB draft due to this.
+ Cap Space: At least 44 Million cap space before buyouts.

Weaknesses:

-Starting Lacks depth beyond top 4-5... (yet with 8 Gamestarted limit, it's workable).
-Relief could use additional top options
-Young roster overall, but MiLB system could use some work if rebuilding (Good depth, less top-top options).

Strategy advised:

X Will want to spend on starting pitching, positional weakneeses to compete with the top dawgs.
X Or can buy on/trade for pitching another year, sell the highlights & vets, wait on sleepers to achieve (And the superb relievers to close games/amass holds for a big market), and invest in long-term bets & prospects with funds, as well as super-charged players to sell to contenders [dump deals].

7th overall MILB pick in 2020 Draft.

{rotowire prospect ranks above}

Team Name:
Chicago Cubs

Strengths: A slightly beefier, more hitting centric version of Cubs with a few heavy editions. Which is a big deal in itself.
The team's age is pre-peak for the most part, and the Highly Competitive roster having a minor league system even in the Upper-middle tier is an achievement alone.

+Multiple top hitting editions to the real life Cubs
+A couple nice prospect signings to real life Cubs
+Cubs base mostly there, very attractive to Cub fans or admirers of the roster.
+MASSIVE hitting depth overall
+Deep roster
+Roster not in need of decisions including lack of extensions needed, allowing for seamless transition.

Weaknesses:

-Very little Top Starting pitching talent
-Overall Pitching depth at major league level.
-High salary cost of some players (Herrera/Tanaka/Relievers)

Stragies/Advice:

X I would personally go with a neutral mode, competing most seasons until/unless it looks bleak, and utilize hitting for pitching trades + sign one very good starter.
