Dolphins still have lots of players to trade for picks, can pay 2019 contracts

If Gordo wasn't 31 I'd make extra space - fairly easily - for a 2m plus bid. But no rush since almost done with the work week

Like with Roto... It adds another element to pay attention to. plus speed helps with multille defensive positions

Now back to your regular banter.

Gordon has had a couple of years where he had a solid OBP(2015 and 2017) and he would score well. Most of the time he's been 4 to 8 PPG though.

SB is 6 Points, Singles are 24 and Walks are 20. You only want the guys who can hit.

Por-Mil trade
#1
Portland and Milwaukee have agreed to a trade.

POR receives: PG Dennis Schroeder 3.4, 2020

MIL receives: Picks 1.23 and 1.30 in the 2019 draft and Seth Curry 5M, 2021 *(2.5M paid in previous deal and 2.5M paid by POR).

We like the upside of adding Schroeder more than we think we can get with any of our late firsts, and given the price he was traded for last time, we feel this is a fair deal for both sides. With Schroeder only being 25 and with us having cap room, we believe we have found our PG. With having pick 1.2 I was more willing to give up a second late first rounder to make this deal happen. And with our other picks being 2.3 and 2.5, we're not too worried about the gap between them and 1.30. MIl to confirm.

Thanks for teh smooth talks JB!

Milwaukee confirms.  With our team being so top heavy we wanted to spread out some of our talent and get some draft selections this season and a serviceable backup PG.  Curry being fully paid is def a benefit for our team as we don't have a ton of cap space to attack the FA market.  Schroeder showed to be effective (top 25 PG) even after being traded, so his volume will surely be missed.  Hopefully I can turn these newly acquired draft picks into some long term assets to pair with our big three (AD, JJJ and Bagley).  Thanks again Tom and GL!
